Orlando Area Parks Accommodate the Hotel Weary Business Traveler

Posted by: Amy, Travel Guide Posted Date: 04/01/2010

Florida State ParksI oftentimes find myself wanting a little something different for accommodations on my business travels.  On those occasions when my schedule is not so tight, I opt to stay at local state parks.  The Orlando area has several beautiful state parks offering cabins and lodges for your stay while in the area.

Let’s face it, business travel is hard.  Wouldn’t it be nice to reward yourself with a beautiful setting at a great price?  The Orlando area has so many wonderful sights to see and you shouldn’t pass up on the opportunity to see what Florida State Parks  have to offer.  Here are a few of my favorites:

  1. Blue Springs State Park – home to the largest spring on the St. John’s River and also a manatee refuge.  Refresh your tired traveling body in crystal clear 73 degree water.
  2. Lake Louisa State Park – so many lakes and rolling hills you will think you aren’t actually in Florida.  Fish, canoe, or kayak to work out the stresses of your day.
  3. Rock Springs Run State Reserve – hop a horse or hike a trail to see miles of pristine shoreline.
  4. Silver River State Park – rent one of the luxury cabins to reinvigorate yourself.

The Orlando area offers plenty of wildlife and nature to help rejuvenate your body from weary business travels.  Check out one of Central Florida’s beautiful state parks  to call home for a few days.

Plan your trip at OrlandoTravelHotels.com  where you will find everything you need to enjoy a memorable visit to Orlando – book flights , reserve hotel rooms  and more in one convenient place.
