It seems as though Orlando has taken its own spin of the movie quote “If you build it, he will come.”  According to a recent USA Today Travel report, Orlando ranks as the #2 U.S. destinations with the most hotel rooms under construction.

The report states there are currently 2,636 rooms under construction in the greater Orlando area.  One of my favorite hotels, Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, will open 400 additional rooms in October of this year.  In 2012, Disney will be opening its highly-anticipated Art of Animation Resort.  This will provide another 1,984 rooms.
